BS Civil Engineering, University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Scott established Dimension Fabricators, Inc. in 1984 after five years as a structural design engineer at Clough Harbour & Associates, Albany, NY and one year at Martin Marietta, New Orleans, LA where he worked on the NASA space shuttle project. He received his BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from UB and later was appointed a member of the Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council. Scott is a past Chairman of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI), a member of the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Scott led Dimension from a start-up to its current position as a recognized leader and innovator in the fabricating industry.
AAS Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, NY. Scott (aka “Sam”) joined Dimension in 1989 after serving in the continental U.S. and overseas for five years with the US Navy Construction Battalion (Seabees). He received his AAS degree from the Civil, Construction, Industrial and Mechanical Technologies Department of HVCC while employed full time at Dimension. As designated second-in-command, He is responsible for major products organization and management. In addition, Scott directly manages Heavy and Highway Projects, Drilled Shafts cages, Spirals, and Plain and Coated products.
BA Business Management, SUNY Empire State College, Albany, NY. Valerie joined Dimension in 2002 as Office Manager. Since then she has assumed increasing responsibility for all internal tax and accounting issues. Valerie also is an estimator for building and civil structures. In addition, she directly manages Rebar for Buildings and Wire Mesh for Slabs products.
BS Civil Engineering, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. Joel first worked part time for Dimension during his college years in the cage assembly and fabrication shops as well as a truck driver. After receiving his BS Degree, he joined Dimension full time in 2006.He successfully completed the April 2011 Professional Engineering Examination. Joel is on the Board of Directors of the ENY Chapter of the Association for Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD). In addition to his responsibilities as Production Manager, Joel is charged with estimating and sales of bridge projects, stainless steel reinforcing, and design-build highway projects.
Attended Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY and graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering. After working part time for seven years at Dimension as a fabricator, truck driver and assembler, Greg joined the company full time in 2006. Recently Greg led the design and implementation of Dimension’s patented CAGE-RITE® cage bracing system. In daily operations he is charged with managing engineering and production of manufactured cage products.
BS Civil Engineering, Northeastern University, Boston MA. Todd joined Dimension in 2012 as Plant Engineer. Todd’s duties include managing the maintenance and design of factory machinery, facilities, and equipment. In addition, Todd oversees the maintenance of Dimension’s truck fleet and rolling stock. Prior to joining Dimension, Todd spent a combined six years working on substantial infrastructure projects across the USA for Turner Construction Company and Flatiron Constructors, Inc. Todd’s project resume includes the John James Audubon Bridge project in Baton Rouge, LA and the Lake Champlain Bridge in Crown Point, NY.
BS Civil Engineering, Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY. Dan worked at Dimension during his high school and college years in assembled products and delivering material. After spending a number of years in the reinforced concrete industry with Flatiron Constructors and Baker Concrete Construction, Dan joined Dimension full time in 2014 as an Engineer for the Assembled Products division. His abilities include detailing, design, estimating and scheduling for large reinforced concrete projects.
B.Arch (Bachelors of Architecture) University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL. Jeanne joined Dimension in 2011 as a detailing project manager. Since then she has become the Lead Detailer of the Detailing Department. Prior to joining Dimension Fabricators, Jeanne worked as an Architects apprentice for the JSA group out of Miami, Florida. Her duties included Architectural drawings for residential and commercial buildings up to and including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
BS Construction Management, Ferris State University, Big Rapids, MI. Zach joined Dimension in 2016 as our Production Manager after spending a number of years in the reinforced concrete industry with Baker Concrete Construction. Zach’s project resume includes the Fort Lauderdale Airport Runway Expansion Bridges and Tampa Airport’s ConRAC. In daily operations he manages our fabricated reinforcing operations and scheduling.
